For this week task, every group should concentrate on brainstorming for the iCAAP competition that will be held. The discussion objective is mainly to observe each of the group member’s ideas and their level of creativity. We concentrate on giving our opinion and generate idea to come out with what our group can produce especially on the Multimedia product for the competition base on the application category. The application type includes four kinds of various Multimedia streams which are; animation, virtual reality, game design, and Multimedia design.
The iCAAP competition theme is "One Malaysia", so we should first do some research on the subject to get the overview before starting and deciding our next step to figuring out what we should do. But before that, we should think about the ideas for all the application and our company name. What we have come with our discussion is that we found a lot of product can be produce for each type of the Multimedia application. For example, by using e-book or e-learning application, we can create a medium to portray the Malaysia's Civilization, Malaysian society and their rich cultures from the early stage of forming the nation. Besides that, we also came out with the idea to design the media player theme with the "One Malaysia" concept, and create a short story about the Malaysian society that lives in harmony despite of different race and religion. For the virtual reality application, we want to create the ambience of Malaysian society where they live in prosperity.
Organizational chart of Techno Apprentice...
During all the intense discussion, we have finally figured out our company's name which we collectively decided to call it by the name of "Techno Apprentice", and all the members’ position also had been decided. There are also some problems accrued during making the decision process, especially how it is hard to finally come out with the company's name. Other than that, I think the least problem is to figuring out ideas to invent a product for game design base on "One Malaysia" theme.
