In today class we have last presentation for our business activity progress. Madam Rafidah has remind us to be well prepare for final presentation on next Monday (19th October 2009). She also reminds us to finish our business and submits the final report on that day.

For today presentation, we have presented about our 'Donation Day at Kindergarten, Kampung Tradisi’. Our group presenter is Wu Shoa Yi. We also submitted our last weekly progress report before the presentation.

As usual, in every weekly progress presentation, we never face big problems that disturbing us to ending our presentation. Just for this time, we face a little bit of difficulties before presentation because a time management mistake.

For this week, Madam Rafidah reminds us about the business plan competition. She told us, any group in the class which joins the competition will get bonus mark. She does encourage our group to join the competition. She also tells us what the details she wants in our final report. There is no activity going during the class session except submitting our report.

For this class session, our main activity is focusing on making business plan for our business activity. As usual, we get together in our group to discuss intensely about everyone's part. The business plan that we make should follow the guideline that given by Madam. The task must be submit by next class on Monday.

In promoting the 'Laptop Formatting Workshop', the registration booth were open daily at several strategic places such as at foyer of the Sultanah Bahiyah Library and the FTM building. The response from the fellow students was surprisingly very good as the register participant increasing daily. This shows a good sign for our group business plan in making a big profit.

There are no problem for our group this week. But just a little constrain we had in setting up the booth due to the limited time as each one of the group members have other commitment such as classes and assignment.

This week, we have to plan on making budget for the workshop that will be held. The budget was made based on the expense that will be make for the lab rent, instructor fee, food and beverage, CD and others. For early preparation, we have made posters and flyers for the promotion purpose. After that we manage to make a duty schedule for each member to take turn managing and handle the registration counter.

Yes.....One Malaysia...!!

What I have done this week was brainstorming with all group members to prepare four business idea based on the theme. We have proposed different application for each type of application. For the animation application we have proposed short scene like news and we named it as ‘Bulletin Malaysia’ program. For virtual reality application we decided to build the environment that will expose the ‘Malaysian Custom of Wedding’. Then to commemorate Malaysia warrior’s loyal service, we choose to develop ‘Malaysian Warriors’ as our game design application. Furthermore, on multimedia design application, we decided to develop Digital Storytelling. This Digital storytelling is about ‘Voice of Malaysia’.

Idea....Idea.....Idea..........!!!!

As usual for all meeting with my group members we don’t have any serious problem that will aggravate our discussion. But, for this discussion we feel a bit difficult to get the best idea based on the theme.

In our first group meeting, not much we have come to where we haven’t reach a point of agreement on making the final decision for our company name. One thing for sure of what we have succeed on that first meeting is forming the group and get to know each other among the group members. Due to our short meeting, and just for an introduction of anyone of us, we couldn’t make it to make an agreement to our company name and group members position.

Madam Rafidah also reminds us to choose two workshops that being held by FTM lecturers which mandatory for us to join. For me, I have chosen to join a workshop by Dr. Siti Jamilah Bidin on 19th July 2009, from 11.00 a.m to 12.00 p.m. at Workshop Room A, at Convention Centre, as my first workshop that I attended. The workshop title is How to Use Good Grammar in Professional Communication which took an hour to finish. I enjoy attending this workshop because of all the information that being provided by Dr. Siti Jamilah Bidin is truly useful in daily basis especially in communication that helped me to improve in English Grammar. I haven’t decided what kind of workshop I should attend for my next workshop.

My pleasure to introduce myself to all of you guys. My name is Noorshakira Ismail but all of you can call me Sha. For your information, I’m still an undergraduate student of Northern University of Malaysia which also known as UUM. Right now I still have to undergo my last semester here in UUM to finish my first bachelor degree. I took Multimedia course as my majoring and I enjoy studying here. I love the environment and beautiful scenery here that surrounded by greenery of the natural landscapes. That is what keeping me fresh everyday when I go to all of my classes..! I 'm very glad and it’s an honour for me to finally start blogging.

For my first post I would like to introduce all of you about my It Entrepreneurship class. My lecturer’s name is Madam Rafidah Abdul Razak. She is a nice person who’s got a very interesting personality and very good looking.

For my first task in the It Entrepreneurship class, Madam Rafidah has told each one of us to carry out a blog which is related to our It Entrepreneurship subject. Each one of us must submit a post each week as an update to our activity in class, my group project, etc which is related to the subject. Thats all for my first post as an introduction from me and with god will i’ll post my update for this subject every week. InsyaAllah...
